St. Louis Review: Pope Benedict-Condoms Not a Real or Moral Solution

An excerpt from the St. Louis Review editorial, Nov. 26, 2010.
"In spite of the very clear and constant teaching of the Church and the clear teaching of Pope Benedict that condom use is an immoral means of preventing the spread of HIV, some have taken the Holy Father’s words to signal an approval in some cases of the use of the condom and, thus, a change in the Church’s teaching on contraception. In some reports, even a few persons who work at the Vatican appear to have attributed to the Holy Father’s words a meaning that would contradict the Church’s moral teaching and the explicit teaching of the Holy Father himself. The words of the Holy Father in the book stand in opposition to any attempt to describe the use of condoms as moral, however."
